Anforderungen
- Deep knowledge of IFRS 17/9 accounting standards and financial reporting
- Degree in accounting, actuarial science, business, or related finance field
- Proven experience in external/internal audit or related finance roles in insurance industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage audit engagements as audit lead
- Perform planning, testing, and reporting procedures
- Strong understanding of risk, governance, and internal controls
- Internal audit methodologies and continuous risk assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with interviewing and presentations
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong documentation skills
- Process walkthroughs, narratives, flowcharts, and transactional testing
- Experience managing stakeholders and teams in global, matrixed organization
- Commercial mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive, self-starter approach
- Strong knowledge of project management practices
- Strong knowledge of risk management practices
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, CIA, or relevant credential
- Encouraged to apply if returning to workforce after career break
Aufgaben
- Lead end-to-end audits across Finance processes
- Provide assurance over governance, risk management, and internal controls
- Provide assurance over regulatory compliance and achievement of business objectives
- Plan, supervise, and review audit work
- Ensure timely execution of process walkthroughs and control testing
- Ensure timely execution of substantive procedures and advisory engagements
- Prepare and present high-quality audit reports
- Ensure audit observations are evidence-based and balanced
- Agree audit observations with stakeholders
- Communicate complex findings with clarity and confidence
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with management
- Communicate audit progress, findings, and recommendations
- Influence sustainable business insights and improvements
- Assess emerging risks and business developments
- Contribute to the ongoing risk assessment process
- Contribute to the development of the biannual Internal Audit Plan
- Coach and develop team members
- Promote knowledge sharing within the audit function
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes
- Coordinate audit teams
- Engage with senior stakeholders and functional leaders
