- Designing scenario-based test suites on simulation platform and defining coverage
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Linux, Docker, CI environments
- Deep domain expertise in scenario design, SITL/HITL execution, simulation tools
- Ability to step into engineering team and establish clarity
- Manage distributed engineers effectively
- Rigorous, analytical approach to noisy physical metrics, false positives, flaky test environments
- Define and hold clear interfaces with platform providers and internal customer teams
- Background in defense/aerospace flight software, control systems
- Experience closing sim-to-real fidelity gaps
- Working-level English
Aufgaben
- Structure and lead the engineering team
- Develop the case and roadmap for team scaling
- Drive design of versioned scenario library for nominal, edge, off-nominal, and contested flight conditions
- Expand scenario library into Monte Carlo and multi-agent testing
- Train the team in simulation experience
- Establish test execution across SITL, HITL, and CI
- Define gating policies, telemetry capture, deterministic replay, and coverage analytics
- Negotiate and maintain technical boundaries with Tooling
- Negotiate and maintain co-ownership splits with Validation
- Correlate simulation models against real flight data
- Measure and close the sim-to-real gap
- Ensure test gates reflect flight readiness
