Anforderungen
- Degree in automation, electrical, mechatronics, computer science, systems engineering or comparable technical field
- Practical experience in PLC programming and industrial automation, ideally in machinery, plant engineering or heavy industry
- Knowledge of common PLC development environments and programming languages according to IEC 61131-3
- Understanding of industrial communication systems, machine interfaces and system integration
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customers, partners, production sites and regional organizations
- English fluency; German or additional languages are an advantage
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, B&R Automation Studio, CODESYS or similar platforms; industrial communication protocols (e.g. Profinet, EtherCAT, OPC UA, MQTT); safety PLCs, simulation and virtual commissioning; robotics, industrial cybersecurity and modular machine architectures; experience working with OEMs and technology partners.

- Design intuitive HMI and UX solutions
- Define functional concepts, interfaces, and reusable software modules
- Translate requirements into technical specifications
- Evaluate, test, and qualify external technologies, software components, and automation solutions
- Provide fact-based recommendations for integration or make-or-buy decisions
- Support testing, commissioning, and documentation
