- Implement corporate Environment, Health, and Safety programs
- Drive a strategic approach to EHS
- Ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safe practices
- Support managers and employees in prioritizing safety
- Ensure safe and compliant operations
- Enforce and maintain health and safety policies
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and accidents
- Provide safety training
- Ensure compliance with Swiss and EU health and safety regulations
- Ensure compliance with Veolia EHS regulations
- Implement and maintain environmental management systems
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits
- Manage environmental initiatives
- Conduct environmental impact assessments
- Ensure systematic environmental management processes
- Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of safety risks
- Identify risks and support risk assessments
- Contribute to the Veolia Water Tech EHS community
- Represent the EHS community in Switzerland
- Monitor EHS KPIs
- Identify EHS strengths and weaknesses
- Manage EHS action plans
- Support sustainability management
- Provide data for strategic sustainability reporting
- Ensure an effective EHS competence matrix
- Ensure a compliant regulatory compliance process
- Support management with EHS expertise
- Support prioritization between EHS and other topics
- Follow 'Always Safe' principles
- Comply with occupational health and safety rules
- Lead by example in safety matters
- Ensure safety is a primary consideration in work scheduling
- Act as Safety Officer (SIBE)
- Act as Environment Responsible
- Act as Local Process Responsible for HSE process
- Manage the building and its infrastructure
- Negotiate with the landlord
- Plan building maintenance, renovation, and repair
- Select suppliers for building services
- Coordinate building maintenance, renovation, and repair
