Aufgaben
- Translate product and technology priorities into executable engineering plans
- Support Team Leads in translating plans into individual objectives
- Ensure engineering priorities are understood, resourced, and executed
- Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies for delivery
- Identify root causes when delivery is off track and drive corrective actions
- Lead engineering capacity and resource planning
- Identify capability gaps and propose development, allocation, or hiring actions
- Drive and coach adoption of AI-assisted development tools and practices
- Establish and monitor relevant engineering metrics
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery, quality, and engineering practices
- Set clear objectives and expectations for engineering teams
- Ensure effective performance management across engineering
- Manage, coach, and develop Team Leads
- Directly manage individual contributors where appropriate
- Foster engagement, accountability, collaboration, and development across engineering
- Ensure transparent and aligned communication across the engineering team
- Act as the main engineering point of contact for non-technical teams
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies
- Facilitate prioritization and arbitration when objectives conflict
- Communicate engineering progress, risks, and trade-offs
- Coordinate engineering input on RFPs
