- Develop global, regional, and country IP strategies for assigned areas
- Advise the business on freedom-to-operate matters
- Prepare formal freedom-to-operate opinions in certain cases
- Counsel clients on patent validity and infringement issues
- Review IP-related agreements
- Manage an IP portfolio
