Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in accounting, finance or economics
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking industry role
- Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
- Adaptability and experience managing complex financial matters in dynamic environment
- Meticulousness, cross-functional collaboration, parallel work, attention to detail, very good organisation skills
- Strong understanding of banking business, seeing bigger picture, understanding broader financial context
- Experience with IFRS and Swiss accounting principles (ARB-FINMA a plus)
- Excellent MS Office (Excel) skills. PowerBI, SQL, Python knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of Temenos T24 and OneStream software a plus
Aufgaben
- Maintain the general ledger

- Produce accounting schedules and reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Participate in half-year and year-end closings
- Prepare notes to the financial statements
- Prepare answers for external auditors
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve unusual movements
- Investigate and resolve ageing items
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and prepayments
- Review other accounting adjustments
- Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for banking transactions
- Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for financial instruments
- Support the preparation of statutory financial statements
- Support the preparation of management financial statements
- Contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial reporting
- Take responsibility for assigned accounting projects
- Provide accounting guidance for complex issues
- Implement solutions for complex accounting issues
- Address accounting queries from various departments
- Address accounting queries from foreign group entities
- Prepare miscellaneous regulatory filings
- Record business transactions and events accurately
- Record business transactions and events comprehensively
- Record business transactions and events systematically
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards
- Provide internal and external stakeholders with financial views
