Anforderungen
- Advanced Bachelor's or ongoing Master's degree studies in physics, electrical engineering, photonics, optical engineering, materials science, or comparable technical/scientific field
- Interest in optics, photonics, sensor technology, spectroscopy, and optical measurement methods
- Enjoyment of experimental laboratory work, simulations, and technical analyses
- Good foundations in physics, mathematics, and technology; structured and curious working style
- Initial experience with Zemax OpticStudio®, MATLAB, or Python
- Good command of German and/or English
Aufgaben
- Contribute to research and development projects in optical sensing
- Support work on spectroscopy, imaging, and measurement systems
- Support optical simulations and system analyses using Zemax OpticStudio®
- Assist with laboratory experiments setup, execution, documentation, and evaluation
- Help build, test, and characterize prototypes and sensor systems
- Analyze, process signals, and visualize measurement results using Python
- Conduct technical research into new technologies, applications, and approaches for future sensor systems
