Anforderungen
- Engineering degree (FH/University, Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing/Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation/Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Business Information Systems/Computer Science, or equivalent
- 0-5 years experience in regulated industry (medical devices) with strong affinity for data and data analysis
- General knowledge of manufacturing technologies (turning, milling, drilling, grinding, erosion, heat treatment, cleaning, shot peening, bead blasting, electropolishing, passivation, plastic injection molding, laser marking)
- Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel, digital tools, business applications, manufacturing systems, ERP, MES, PLM, CAQ systems (SAP, Critical Manufacturing, Agile, Windchill, BabtecQ)
- Advantageous: Experience in MES implementation projects (design, configuration, testing, deployment, support)
- Fluent business communication in English and German
- Advocates change, effective communication (meeting facilitation, data presentation, decision-making, cross-level communication, people development), Jabil core competencies (agility, decisiveness, self-development, development of others, resilience, building trusting relationships)
Aufgaben
- Support manufacturing and production improvement projects in Industry 4.0
- Implement systems for production improvement
- Acquire machinery and equipment data
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide engineering support for production
- Configure and implement the MES product portfolio
- Support smooth production go-live with MES
- Enable connected manufacturing and real-time data visibility
- Support advanced analytics and adaptive processes
- Support transition from BabtecQ CAQ to Critical Manufacturing CAQ
- Contribute to related system and process changes
- Prepare, cleanse, migrate, and verify master data
- Provide MES shopfloor and post-go-live support
- Troubleshoot MES issues and deviations
- Perform root cause analysis for MES deviations
- Support MES system recovery and define workarounds
- Drive MES-related procedure updates
- Support user engagement through training and coaching
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Planning, and IT
- Align MES activities with production and business needs
- Monitor, analyze, and improve medical device manufacturing processes
- Implement new digital technologies
- Acquire data from manufacturing systems
- Plan and execute engineering project activities
- Track engineering project progress and costs
- Prepare status reports for engineering projects
- Maintain documentation for engineering projects
