Anforderungen
- Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline
- 2+ years industrial R&D or relevant experience in formulation development and product evaluation for Oral Health, personal care, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical products
- Working knowledge of colloid/interface science, emulsion/suspension chemistry, rheology, surfactants, and statistical experimental design (DoE)
- Hands-on experience in product development, lab experimentation, and process technology for scale-up to commercial manufacturing
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Computer literacy in PLM and database systems
- Professional written and oral fluency in English

Aufgaben
- Represent the Oral Care Product Development team in cross-functional project teams
- Develop new consumer and professional oral care products from initiation to launch
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to move projects from development to commercialization
- Create and maintain a network within the Global Technology organization
- Build and maintain contacts with suppliers and external research institutions
- Access external technology for material testing and claim substantiation
- Drive development of new product formulae from experimental phase to pilot scale
- Ensure timely execution of allocated projects respecting internal and external standards
- Protect the company’s intellectual property
- Apply internal and external standards for EHS, Product Safety, Quality, Regulatory, Legal, and Sustainability
- Instruct Laboratory Scientists on required formulation work
- Evaluate formulation work products and related testing results
- Plan and coordinate efficacy studies with external institutions
- Guide development and validation of new test methods
- Substantiate product claims to communicate formula efficacy and consumer benefits
- Analyze scientific trends in the oral care field
- Plan and coordinate clinical efficacy studies with the Global Clinical Group and external institutions
- Contribute to the quality system as a member of a Quality Team
