Anforderungen
- PhD or Master’s degree in Radiochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry or related field
- Proven experience in radiochemical separation and purification
- Strong knowledge of actinide chemistry
- In-depth understanding of radiochemistry processes, equipment and tools
- Mastery of Characterization, Alpha or gamma spectrometry, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, liquid scintillation counting, or comparable analytical techniques
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety, radioprotection and GMP regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience translating lab-scale processes to GMP production
- Fluent English
- Excellent knowledge of French or German would be an asset
Aufgaben
- Design and optimize radiochemical separation and purification
- Collaborate across teams to develop radiochemical processes and methodology
- Perform radiochemical and chemical analyses, including alpha and gamma spectrometry
- Track radiochemistry developments and adopt relevant innovations and best practices
- Develop the radiochemical process flowsheet, including unit operations, process parameters, material balances, cycle times and waste streams
- Scale up and transfer laboratory processes to a robust and GMP-compliant production line
- Define process, equipment, utility, instrumentation and facility-interface requirements
- Support equipment selection, sizing, qualification, commissioning and process validation
- Develop operating procedures, batch records, control strategies and consumables requirements
- Prepare laboratory and production operations aligned with capacity and customer needs
- Train and mentor colleagues
- Work with QA and Safety to ensure regulatory compliance and meet applicable standards
- Implement and monitor safety protocols and regulatory requirements
