Anforderungen
- Vocational training or degree in commercial/technical field, or equivalent
- Procurement experience in maritime industry, ideally inland navigation/cruise sector
- Strong maritime market/industry knowledge, established supplier network
- Strategic sourcing and operational procurement experience, successful negotiations, cost optimization
- Solid technical understanding, strong analytical skills, independent, hands-on, results-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills, effective collaboration with internal departments and onboard management
- Proficiency in Excel and procurement systems, very good German and good English, willingness to travel occasionally
Aufgaben
- Strategically develop and optimize maritime procurement with Nautical, Technical, and Finance departments
- Analyze purchasing volumes and supplier structures
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through demand consolidation, standardization, and framework agreements
- Select, evaluate, and develop suppliers
- Expand alternative sourcing options
- Manage tender processes
- Compare quotations
- Negotiate prices and contracts considering quality, availability, and total cost of ownership
- Coordinate and oversee operational procurement for fleet technical equipment, spare parts, and services
- Improve procurement processes
- Ensure transparency regarding costs, contracts, and achieved savings
- Take responsibility for strategic procurement activities related to hotel operations on board
