Anforderungen
- Master or Ph.D. degree in business administration or natural/engineering sciences from top-tier university
- At least 7 years investment experience in energy industry or infrastructure transactions/investments
- Significant experience managing motivated team and complex deals/projects
- Strong network in energy market for deal origination and sourcing
- Profound understanding and experience of M&A transactions, due diligence, and independent negotiation
- Familiarity with project financing and commercial/technical expertise
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, quick learning of complex topics
- Independent, pro-active, flexible, entrepreneurial, self-motivated personality with excellent communication and positive attitude
- Fluency in English
Aufgaben
- Support the investment lifecycle from sourcing to sell-downs
- Focus on investment opportunities in Swiss and German markets
- Identify and originate investment opportunities in energy infrastructure
- Leverage network and market insights for deal sourcing
- Lead transaction execution, including financial modeling and valuation
- Prepare investment memoranda for the Investment Committee
- Manage due diligence processes across all workstreams
- Coordinate external advisors and internal experts for due diligence
- Structure transactions and negotiate key terms
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Derive and present investment strategies aligned with objectives
- Take ownership of assigned portfolio companies and assets
- Ensure delivery of investor returns and strategic objectives
- Represent EIP on Boards of Directors
- Monitor operational and financial performance of portfolio companies
- Identify risks and implement corrective measures
- Prepare client reporting and maintain investor relationships
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance portfolio value
- Collaborate with management teams and internal functions
- Implement best practices and drive performance
- Mentor and guide analysts and associates
- Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Ensure efficient project management across the team
- Ensure knowledge sharing across the team
