Anforderungen
- Polymechaniker EFZ, Automatiker EFZ, Anlagen- und Apparatebauer EFZ, Konstrukteur EFZ, or comparable practical experience
- 3+ years of workshop, fabrication shop, or comparable environment experience
- Solid bench and machine skills: bandsaw, drill press, angle grinder, layout, measurement
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Driving licence (Cat. B)
- Computer comfort: inventory lists, supplier portals, ticket queue, email
- Good command of German and English
- Experience in prototype, R&D or serial production environment
- Basic CAD experience
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems
- MIG/MAG/TIG welding, sheet metal work, painting and surface prep
- Experience in hand soldering
Aufgaben
- Own and manage the mechanical workshop
- Organize workshop layout, storage, tools, cleanliness, and safety
- Procure, calibrate, service, and repair tools and machines
- Maintain measurement instruments for data reliability
- Perform physical work in offices and workshop, including installs and repairs
- Coordinate external contractors for ventilation, electrical, and HVAC work
- Brief and sign off on external contractor work
- Plan and execute workshop moves and reconfigurations
- Support production engineers with assembly, testing, and final inspection
- Independently run the build and test process during absences and peak demand
- Perform kitting, incoming inspection, and rework for assembly
- Document the assembly process
- Pack and crate hardware, including heavy and sensitive equipment
- Receive, inspect, and route incoming goods
