- Master's degree in electrical or automation engineering
- Several years of experience in automation, data acquisition, control, and plant control (Siemens PCS7)
- Basic knowledge of networking, LabVIEW, and National Instruments components
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills

- Define, design, and plan measurement concepts for experiments
- Coordinate test facility adaptation for new experiments
- Oversee control and power supply systems
- Instrument test objects
- Collaborate on experiment planning, execution, and evaluation
- Plan, execute, and perform acceptance testing for facility adaptations
- Plan and implement safety-related shutdown circuits
- Document SIL-relevant aspects
- Select instrumentation for safety circuits
- Coordinate external electrical contractors
- Perform technical evaluations of supplier control systems
- Perform acceptance testing of supplier control systems
- Program supplier control systems
- Design supplier control cabinets
- Perform maintenance and optimization tasks for the HELOKA facility
- Integrate and commission new components
- Consider system interfaces for the HELOKA facility
- Program data acquisition for the HELOKA plant using Siemens PCS7
- Program plant control for the HELOKA plant using Siemens PCS7
- Test, implement, and document Siemens PCS7 programming
- Program PLC systems using SIEMENS PCS7
- Commission PLC systems (SIEMENS PCS7)
- Develop SCADA/HMI applications
- Maintain SCADA/HMI applications
- Prepare scientific and technical reports
- Prepare publications at national and international levels
