Anforderungen
- Proven professional experience in algorithm development
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics or comparable technical field
- Years of full-time professional experience in industrial or commercial algorithm/software development after graduation
- Practical experience with multi-object tracking, sensor fusion, radar tracking, object-level fusion, nonlinear state estimation, statistical signal processing, perception algorithms or probabilistic methods
- Confident programming with Python and C or C++
- Ability to write structured, maintainable and testable code
- Solid mathematical foundation, especially in linear algebra, statistics, probability theory, estimation theory and filtering methods
- Experience with radar systems, camera systems, automotive sensors, ADAS, automated driving, intelligent traffic systems, embedded systems, real-time applications, drone tracking, UAV/UAS applications, airborne radar or radar altimeters is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of tracking methods such as Kalman filters, EKF, UKF, particle filters, JPDA, MHT, Bernoulli filters, PHD filters or extended object tracking is beneficial
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems independently
- Ability to convert findings into reliable software solutions
- Structured, delivery-oriented work approach
- Ability to balance technical quality with project constraints
- Clear communication in English
- German language skills are an advantage

- Apply Bernoulli filters, Bayesian filtering, and probabilistic data association
- Use related estimation methods for tracking and fusion
- Analyze algorithm performance with real radar and camera data
- Evaluate algorithm performance in traffic, mobility, and airborne scenarios
- Turn algorithmic concepts into robust software for product development
- Create maintainable and testable software for customer projects
- Improve robustness of tracking and fusion algorithms
- Enhance accuracy of tracking and fusion algorithms
- Optimize runtime behavior of tracking and fusion algorithms
- Increase reliability of tracking and fusion algorithms
- Define test cases to evaluate algorithm quality
- Use metrics to evaluate algorithm quality
- Apply validation methods to evaluate algorithm quality
- Evaluate detection, tracking, fusion, and perception quality
- Contribute to intelligent traffic infrastructure applications
- Contribute to ADAS applications
- Contribute to automated driving applications
