Anforderungen
- Completed apprenticeship as balance sheet accountant, tax specialist, or comparable qualification, alternatively a degree in business administration with focus on auditing, tax, accounting, or controlling
- Sound knowledge in financial accounting and preparing monthly/annual financial statements according to HGB
- First experience in US GAAP reporting (nice to have)
- Good knowledge of German tax law, especially VAT
- Confident use of common accounting, financial statement, and tax software like DATEV and NetSuite (and interfaces)
- Good English skills and very good German skills (spoken and written)
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach
- Strong hands-on mentality and enjoyment of taking responsibility in a dynamic start-up/growth environment
- High degree of initiative and interest in actively shaping and developing processes
Aufgaben
- Independently perform current financial accounting
- Prepare monthly VAT pre-declarations and other tax filings
- Create monthly financial statements (HGB) with external consultants
- Assist in preparing annual financial statements (HGB and US-GAAP)
- Liaise with accounts payable, accounts receivable, Treasury, and Controlling
- Serve as contact for accounting and tax questions
- Coordinate financial topics with international subsidiaries
- Contribute to process design in accounting
