- PhD or Master Degree or equivalent
- Solid academic background in sensor data processing, fusion, and management
- Ability to perform in an environment promoting independent work
- Deep interest in cooperative systems, cognitive robotics, autonomy, AI
- Experience in embedded/hardware-near software development, preferable for airborne mission systems

- Assess and analyze airborne candidate technologies
- Conceptually design single- and multi-platform sensor systems
- Develop and mature system and software architectures
- Implement prototypes and demonstrators
- Verify developed technologies
- Participate in research and development projects
- Present results to project partners
