- Transform threat intelligence into detection logic
- Bridge telemetry to security intelligence
- Define detection engineering vision
- Align technical roadmaps with risk profiles
- Standardize the development lifecycle
- Architect, develop, maintain, and optimize detection rules and framework coverage against MITRE ATT&CK® and Sigma standards
- Analyze Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)
- Translate TTPs into detection logic
- Drive "Detection-as-Code" initiatives
- Engineer automated response playbooks
- Act as escalation point for technical issues
- Mentor junior detection engineers and SOC analysts
- Partner with Incident Response and SOC teams
- Ensure deployment of context-rich detections
