- Ensure enterprise product and architecture strategies align and drive business value
- Shape the enterprise's AI adoption strategy, identifying AI leverage points
- Balance long-term elegance, enterprise scalability, and short-term pragmatism
- Provide architectural and technical guidance to senior stakeholders and Tech area
- Define and enforce enterprise-wide engineering standards and best practices
- Define and enforce architectural guardrails
- Lead the design of complex, multi-domain systems
- Participate in high-stakes architectural discussions
- Use prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate solutions
- Drive the department's technical roadmap
- Evaluate the current tech portfolio
- Manage technical debt at an organizational level
- Guide 'build vs. buy' decisions
- Act as a multiplier for technical talent
- Help senior engineers and technical leads grow
- Foster a culture of cross-team collaboration
