Anforderungen
- Vocational training in commercial, business, or logistics field, or university degree
- Professional experience in export control, foreign trade, or customs
- Additional qualification as Customs or Foreign Trade Officer desirable
- Solid knowledge of foreign trade law (AWG/AWV)
- Solid knowledge of EU Dual-Use Regulation
- Solid knowledge of customs law (Union Customs Code/UCC)
- Solid knowledge of preferential trade agreements and rules of origin
- Solid knowledge of embargo and sanctions regulations
- Experience with BAFA licensing procedures desirable
- Experience with AEO status desirable
- Experience with inward processing desirable
- Experience with Authorized Exporter status desirable
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Proficiency in using compliance software (e.g., AEB)
- Fluent German skills
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Interest in legal and regulatory requirements

- Ability to reliably interpret complex regulations

Aufgaben
- Classify materials and screen against dual-use, embargo, and sanctions lists
- Conduct export control screenings for customers, products, and business partners
- Perform address and sanctions list screening using the AEB compliance system
- Review and approve quotations, orders, and shipments for compliance
- Block critical transactions in case of compliance violations
- Compile and maintain origin and preference data for proofs of origin
- Review and manage supplier declarations
- Prepare and submit Intrastat/Destatis declarations for imports and exports
- Settle inward processing transactions
- Support and coordinate during monitoring and audits by customs offices
- Maintain and manage customs authorizations and permits
- Apply for export licenses from BAFA
- Prepare and facilitate cross-site specialist meetings
- Advise internal departments on export control and customs matters
- Participate in process improvements and compliance projects
