Anforderungen
- Completed school and commercial vocational training with accounting further education and bookkeeping knowledge
- Valid Class B driver's license required
- Mental and physical fitness for all tasks
- Very good English and German speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Frequent walking, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling
- Climbing ladders, scaffolding, platforms, standing, bending, working in cramped areas, lifting and carrying tools/equipment over 40 lbs
- Close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, outside weather, extreme cold/heat, electrical shock risk, moderate noise
Aufgaben
- Assist the project accountant with accounting
- Process account coding transactions for financial accounting
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Post vendor invoices
- Process postings in fixed assets and current accounts
- Perform account reconciliation
- Manage cash accurately
- Calculate, determine, and verify VAT on vendor invoices
- Calculate VAT refunds
- Process payment transactions properly
- Maintain audit registers and files for incoming vendor invoices
- Prepare documents, reports, letters, and checks
- Work with U.S. accounting systems
- Complete questionnaires from external sources
- Collaborate with German authorities
- Follow company procedures and standards (DIN, EN, UVV, ISO, Sarbanes-Oxley)
- Maintain all operationally required work documents
- Participate in company-related training
- Perform other assigned duties as directed by supervisor
