Anforderungen
- 5+ years professional software development experience, majority backend engineering
- Strong professional experience with PHP and Symfony or other backend ecosystem (Java, Python, Node.js) and willingness to work in PHP/Symfony
- In-depth understanding of REST APIs, message-based systems, microservice architectures, distributed systems
- Strong experience with relational databases, data modeling, schema design
- Hands-on professional experience implementing frontend features in Angular or comparable framework (React, Vue.js); strong in component/state logic and API integration; solid styling for design implementation
- Experience with automated testing, Docker, containerized applications, cloud-native development, ideally hands-on with AWS
- Experience using AI coding assistants/agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
- Clear communication in English; collaborative engineering mindset; German is a plus
- Experience with NoSQL systems
- CI/CD pipeline design, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation), serverless architectures
- Domain-Driven Design
- LLM-based application development (RAG, tool/function calling, MCP servers, agent orchestration)
- Component libraries, design systems, frontend performance optimization
- AWS certifications
Aufgaben
- Own features end-to-end, from architecture, data model, backend, frontend, deployment, and production support
- Design, build, and operate container-based backend services, APIs, and infrastructure in AWS
- Design solutions for distributed, message-driven, and service-oriented systems
- Implement frontend features in Angular based on product requirements and designs
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and understandable code with automated tests
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers in an agile environment
- Use AI coding assistants and agents in your engineering workflow
- Break engineering work down for delegation to AI agents
- Critically review AI-generated code with high standards
