Anforderungen
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering with IT focus, or comparable technical discipline
- Commercial degree with extensive IT architecture, application management, or technology consulting experience
- Longstanding experience in strategic IT sourcing, commodity management, or IT service management
- Expertise in global software engineering market, international suppliers, global sourcing initiatives, complex negotiations, and supplier governance
- Proven success working with application owners, architects, IT service managers, or engineering teams to define, source, and deliver complex IT services
- Expertise analyzing supplier proposals, solution concepts, and operating models for business needs alignment
- Strong knowledge of AMS operating models, cloud delivery, ITIL-aligned service delivery, and software quality
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong execution capabilities
- Ability to challenge technical and commercial stakeholders, convert complex technology concepts into clear business decisions
- Strong strategic, analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Collaborative and results-oriented working style, ability to navigate complex organizational structures
- Fluent English required
- German or other languages advantageous
Aufgaben
- Lead global commodity strategies for AMS and IT consulting
- Create transparent demand and develop resilient supplier ecosystems
- Deliver competitive service models aligning with Siemens' requirements
- Drive sourcing excellence and build innovative supplier partnerships
- Enable scalable and sustainable IT services
- Lead technical development and implementation of global AMS strategies
- Establish transparency in purchasing volumes
- Drive value creation through technical expertise, analytics, and KPIs
- Execute complex international sourcing processes
- Negotiate international MSAs, framework agreements, and pricing models
- Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, including qualification and performance
- Assess supplier technical capabilities
- Lead early procurement involvement with application owners
- Drive supplier innovation, resilience, and compliance
- Promote cloud, AI, and automation opportunities
- Integrate sustainability criteria into sourcing and contracts
- Act as a trusted commercial and technical counterpart to stakeholders
- Align global standards with regional execution
- Support early procurement involvement and cross-functional collaboration
