Aufgaben
- Provide strategic oversight of global freight forwarding and 3PL operations
- Ensure cost efficiency, service performance, and regulatory compliance
- Lead the global freight forwarder and 3PL portfolio across all transportation modes
- Drive performance through KPI governance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement
- Define and optimize transportation lanes, routings, and supply chain flows
- Ensure alignment with Quality and GDP requirements
- Manage transportation budgets, freight rates, and logistics cost structures
- Support forecasting and strategic decision-making
- Drive logistics digitalization through visibility tools and automated reporting
- Enable data-driven decisions with standardized analytics
- Act as the global transportation and logistics expert
- Provide market intelligence and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide leadership for operational excellence and change initiatives
- Manage escalations from local and global teams for service issues, disruptions, or claims
