Anforderungen
- Academic degree in Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Sustainability Management, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in sustainability, environmental management, LCA, greenhouse gas accounting, or related disciplines, including hands-on experience with LCA software and environmental assessment methodologies
- Strong knowledge of biodiversity, water stewardship, climate impact assessment, and nature-related frameworks (e.g., TNFD, SBTN)
- Expertise in LCA, PCF, greenhouse gas accounting, environmental impact assessments, and relevant standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067)
- Sound understanding of sustainability regulations and reporting requirements (e.g., CSRD, ESRS, related legislative frameworks)
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Fluent English language skills
- German language skills (advantage)

Aufgaben
- Develop and advance Continental's global nature strategy, including biodiversity and water topics
- Ensure alignment with regulations like CSRD, ESRS, CSDDD, TNFD, and SBTN
- Integrate nature-related objectives into business strategies and decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Sustainability, Purchasing, R&D, Manufacturing, and Technology Engineering
- Act as subject matter expert for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprints (PCF)
- Support sustainability reporting, product evaluations, and strategic initiatives
- Co-lead the Sustainability Assessment Methodology (SAM) workstream within the Tire Industry Project (TIP)
- Shape the agenda and guide discussions for the SAM workstream
- Align industry stakeholders on common sustainability assessment approaches
- Safeguard sensitive company information within the TIP SAM workstream
- Represent Continental in industry associations, customer, and supplier engagements
- Contribute to industry standards and sustainability assessment methods in external initiatives
- Support the implementation of sustainable value chain and supplier strategies
- Assess environmental impacts and sustainable material alternatives in the value chain
- Monitor progress against strategic targets
- Prepare management reports and presentations for executive leadership
