- Develop sourcing strategy and roadmap for categories
- Align strategy with stakeholders like product development and project realization
- Develop and set up supplier segmentation for categories
- Identify strategic suppliers
- Set up supplier relationship management for strategic suppliers
- Act as category expert on markets, prices, and trends
- Ensure competitive pricing
- Ensure supply chain resilience
- Mitigate supply chain risks
- Manage regional implementation of global strategy and organization
- Lead global category execution for production sites
- Lead regional category execution for production sites
- Develop global category standards including RFI/RFP, price, and contract templates
- Focus on relevant KPIs
- Deliver on defined targets
- Collaborate with other procurement teams
- Drive transformation from operational to strategic procurement
