Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, Accounting, or related fields
- Proven leadership experience in scale-up, high-growth, or international environment
- Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering
- Experience building and professionalizing Finance functions and processes
- Exposure to corporate structures and shareholder reporting environments
- Experience in insurance, financial services, technology, or regulated industries beneficial
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Outstanding financial planning and modelling skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Proven ability to influence decision-making at leadership level
- High degree of ownership and proactiveness
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong understanding of finance systems, reporting structures, and process design
- Interest in automation, AI, and technology-enabled finance processes
- Full professional fluency (written and spoken) in English and German
Aufgaben
- Lead and professionalize the global Finance function
- Ensure financial transparency, processes, and steering mechanisms for scaling
- Combine strategic financial leadership with hands-on ownership of core finance activities
- Lead a growing team and transform Finance into a mature business partner
- Identify future challenges and opportunities
- Help leadership make informed decisions through planning, forecasting, and modeling
- Act as a trusted partner to C-Level, leadership, and the corporate shareholder
- Lead, develop, and inspire the Finance team
- Manage and support direct reports in Accounting, Controlling, and Finance Operations
- Build organizational capabilities, processes, and structures for growth
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on ownership, accuracy, and collaboration
- Ensure appropriate resource planning and team development
- Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Develop scalable planning structures and financial governance frameworks
- Ensure financial targets translate into operational plans and measurable outcomes
- Continuously improve forecast quality and business visibility
- Support leadership with scenario planning and strategic decision-making
- Develop financial controlling processes and management reporting
- Partner with department leaders to improve financial planning and cost transparency
- Challenge assumptions, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations
- Establish a culture of financial accountability
- Drive improvements in cost tracking, resource planning, and investment prioritization
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all entities and markets
- Oversee accounting, payroll, tax, treasury, and financial operations
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal reporting requirements
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate external audits and relevant financial reviews
- Serve as the primary financial interface to the corporate shareholder and stakeholders
- Prepare board and shareholder reporting materials
- Support capital planning and long-term financial strategy
- Ensure transparency and professionalism in all financial communications
- Own Finance processes across all markets
- Ensure consistency of financial standards and reporting across countries
- Support international expansion through scalable financial structures and processes
- Promote best-practice sharing and operational alignment across markets
- Drive the professionalization and automation of Finance processes
- Improve the quality, availability, and utilization of financial data
- Define requirements for Finance tooling, reporting, and workflow improvements
- Collaborate with Strategic Operations, Data, Product, and Engineering teams on automation
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled solutions to increase efficiency
- Continuously evaluate and improve Finance processes, controls, and governance
- Reduce manual effort through standardization and automation
- Implement scalable operating models that support company growth
- Ensure Finance remains fit for purpose as organizational complexity increases
