Anforderungen
- University degree in engineering, natural sciences, business administration, innovation management, or comparable field; PhD, MBA preferred
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in strategy, foresight, innovation, venturing/venture clienting, R&D, or technology management with strong network
- Proven track record in identifying strategic growth topics and driving implementation
- Sound understanding of digital and AI-enabled tools, data-driven approaches
- Ability to work effectively across functions, business groups, and management levels; strong stakeholder management and people engagement skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage, influence, and convince different audiences, partners, and customers
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities, entrepreneurial drive, and clear focus on value creation
- Fluent communication skills in English and German; additional languages are an advantage
Aufgaben
- Provide professional and disciplinary leadership to the team
- Foster collaboration, capability building, and high-impact delivery
- Lead foresight activities by identifying and assessing trends and technologies
- Prioritize strategic topics and translate insights into actionable opportunities
- Monitor and interpret external developments driven by technology, regulatory, political, social, and economic changes
- Assess the strategic relevance of external developments for Freudenberg
- Manage Freudenberg’s multi-agent foresighting AI tool
- Collaborate with IT, FTI AI experts, and Business Groups on AI tool development
- Ensure continuous development and high-quality data integration for the AI tool
- Drive effective use of the AI tool across internal and external data sources
- Lead FTI’s venturing unit
- Manage a portfolio of venturing instruments
- Identify, validate, and advance BG-use cases and incubation activities
- Advance strategic growth opportunities through venturing
- Collaborate with start-ups and external innovation ecosystems
- Drive the transformation of foresight topics into growth-field platforms
- Collaborate with the Head of Technology Platform to ensure good delivery of outcome
- Shape strategic priorities with the Head of FTI and FTI Management Team
- Drive the successful execution of strategic growth initiatives
