- Manage day-to-day operations
- Further develop the organization for higher material flows
- Shape the future direction of material flows, processes, and organization
- Consistently implement changes
- Lead teams with clear expectations and transparent decision-making
- Oversee goods receipt, warehousing, stock levels, internal transport, production supply, dispatch, and customs
- Manage waste disposal logistics and its interfaces
- Manage two logistics team leaders
- Develop the skills of managers and staff
- Be present on the shop floor
- Make decisions in the event of deviations
- Issue specific instructions where necessary
- Monitor implementation of instructions
- Ensure reliable and safe operations at the main plant and outsourced warehouses
- Manage specific requirements for large components, frozen goods, and hazardous substances during storage, transport, and provision
- Develop a cross-site material flow and capacity plan for the ramp-up phase
- Plan floor space, storage, order-picking concepts, buffers, containers, transport, and production supply based on volume models
- Establish logistics engineering as a core competence
- Implement improvements using lean methods
- Ensure a stable supply of materials
- Minimize unnecessary handling
- Maintain manageable stock levels
- Optimize cost-effective processes
- Develop a control system based on figures, data, and facts
- Introduce key performance indicators and shop floor management
- Address variances with the teams
- Review the impact of agreed measures
- Further develop logistics processes in SAP R/3 and WM from a technical perspective
- Improve posting quality, data utilization, and standards
- Assess appropriate digitalization and automation
- Represent the logistics function in projects
- Coordinate interfaces with planning, production, quality, procurement, and facilities
- Manage dispatch and customs as part of an end-to-end process chain
