Anforderungen
- Vocational training as freight forwarding agent, degree in logistics/international trade, or comparable qualification
- Several years of import/export handling experience, ideally in industrial/manufacturing
- Solid knowledge of customs procedures, export controls, Incoterms; experience with customs software like ATLAS is a plus
- Qualification as Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) for road & sea is an advantage; support provided for obtaining it
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is desirable
- Analytical, structured working style and enjoyment in optimizing processes and costs
- Confident communication with carriers, authorities, and internal stakeholders
Aufgaben
- Manage inbound and outbound processes and deliveries
- Manage customs processes and documentation
- Support during customs investigations
- Create delivery documentation
- Book transports
- Check incoming documents for validity and correctness
- Handle tickets and internal customer requests on logistics topics
- Monitor logistics processes and KPIs
- Solve logistics and transportation issues
- Represent Skeleton as Dangerous Goods Officer (road & sea)
- Identify opportunities to optimize transportation structure and costs
- Implement transportation structure and cost optimizations
- Bring import transport bookings in-house
- Negotiate direct carrier contracts and rates
- Consolidate freight forwarders across all Skeleton locations
- Set up a reliable system for import tax (ATC) documentation
- Take on other assigned tasks
