Anforderungen
- 5-8 years in information security governance, risk, and compliance
- Career start in IT operations, infrastructure, security operations, or IT audit
- Supplier assessment beyond questionnaires (SOC 2, ISO 27001 evidence)
- Incident reporting decision-making within hours
- End-to-end compliance program management
- Building trust with managing directors, explaining obligations without jargon
- Hands-on NIS2, KRITIS, or comparable cybersecurity regulation implementation
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor or BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner
- Fluent English
- German language skills (strong advantage)
- Based in Germany (near Essen ideal)
- Experience in energy, OT, or IoT environments (plus)
- Business continuity experience (plus)
Aufgaben
- Run IT security and compliance as one program across all markets, setting country milestones
- Track cybersecurity regulations in each market
- Keep authority registrations current
- Provide country managing directors a clear, regular status view
- Maintain the risk register
- Report to management quarterly
- Assess critical suppliers with procurement
- Assess security terms in supplier contracts
- Own incident reporting as the escalation contact for the managed SOC
- Own security policies
- Test key controls
- Organize security training for management and awareness for all employees
- Provide security evidence for tenders and audits
- Scope and steer external specialists for penetration tests and technical work
- Act as IT contact for business continuity and crisis management
- Collaborate with Legal, Data Protection, Procurement, Product Owners, and business leaders
