- Build and maintain backend services for external cloud provider integration
- Integrate various cloud providers into the gridX ecosystem
- Implement and maintain Go services for gathering measurements and sending control commands
- Abstract away provider-specific edge cases in services
- Leverage AI coding tools for implementation and review
- Engineer solutions for a fast-scaling platform handling 20,000+ cloud-connected assets
- Design architecture for heavy telemetry and real-time control at scale
- Build cloud integrations linking assets to the gridX platform
- Ingest asset data for various services
- Route real-time execution commands back to assets via cloud providers
- Leverage AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows
- Implement new cloud integrations based on API documentation, OAuth, and webhooks
- Evolve the integration framework
- Refactor event-processing chains
- Migrate data stores
- Shape abstractions for simpler future integrations
- Debug distributed pipeline failures using logs, traces, and metrics
- Write tests for provider API contracts, webhook edge cases, and command delivery
- Contribute to API specifications (TypeSpec/OpenAPI, protobuf/gRPC)
- Collaborate with cloud API teams, Product Owners, Platform Engineers, and Energy Domain Experts
