Anforderungen
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally as a Kaufmann/-frau for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services
- Initial professional experience in transport, logistics, or dispatch advantageous
- Good knowledge of logistical and operational transport processes
- Experience with dispatch or transport management systems (e.g., ROCS) advantageous
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Good geographical knowledge
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Teamwork, responsibility, independent and solution-oriented work style
- High resilience and decision-making ability in dynamic operational environments
- Willingness for flexible working hours, including night and weekend work
Aufgaben
- Record and maintain daily tour data in Linehaul systems (ROCS)
- Create freight documents and hand them over to drivers
- Conduct driver briefings and debriefings
- Order and coordinate special trips with transport service providers
- Ensure efficient and cost-optimized transport processing
- Maximize tour utilization by continuously monitoring traffic lanes
- Monitor timely availability of vehicles and resources
- Proactively communicate and support to ensure smooth operations
- Manage trailer and swap body provision in coordination with Warehouse Operations and shunter drivers
- Ensure punctual loading and unloading
- Monitor transport services performed and ensure agreed service quality
- Identify and assess deviations in the network plan (e.g., weather, traffic jams, accidents)
- Communicate the impact of deviations
- Initiate corrective actions to ensure the best possible service level
