Anforderungen
- Completed commercial or logistics vocational training, degree, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, inventory management, or 3PL coordination
- Practical understanding of warehouse processes (goods receipt, inventory, reconciliation, exception handling)
- Experience with external warehouses, logistics service providers, or 3PL partners (highly desirable)
- Strong ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve operational problems
- Confident working with ERP and warehouse data; SAP or comparable ERP systems experience (advantage)
- Very good MS Excel skills and affinity for numbers, operational data, and structured analysis
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple operational topics
- High ownership, reliability, and attention to detail
- Hands-on mentality with strong follow-up approach to issue resolution
- Confident communication with external logistics partners and internal stakeholders
- Ability to remain structured and solution-oriented in fast-moving operational environment
- Fluent German and English required
Aufgaben
- Manage day-to-day operational collaboration with external warehouses and 3PL providers
- Act as central operational contact for warehouse issues, deviations, and escalations
- Monitor service levels, operational performance, and processing quality of logistics partners
- Follow up on open operational cases, ensuring ownership, deadlines, and resolution
- Coordinate operational topics between 3PL partners and internal departments
- Identify recurring operational issues and drive corrective actions with stakeholders
- Support onboarding, transitions, and operational setup of new logistics partners
- Ensure complete and timely processing of incoming goods at external warehouses
- Monitor open, incomplete, delayed, or incorrectly booked goods receipts
- Actively clarify discrepancies in goods receipts
- Investigate deviations between physical inventory, warehouse data, and ERP records
- Manage inventory exceptions like missing stock and damaged goods
- Coordinate inventory corrections and ensure traceable documentation
- Support inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical stock counts
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and system data quality
- Proactively identify operational deviations impacting availability and delivery
- Structure and prioritize operational exceptions by urgency and impact
- Escalate SLA breaches and unresolved discrepancies to stakeholders
- Coordinate root-cause analyses for recurring discrepancies and failures
- Track corrective measures to completion and verify implementation
- Maintain clear documentation of open issues, responsibilities, and resolutions
- Monitor operational KPIs such as goods receipt completeness and inventory accuracy
- Create regular operational reports on outstanding issues and performance gaps
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve warehouse processes
- Support implementation and optimization of interfaces between systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with internal and external partners
- Develop practical solutions to improve process reliability and efficiency
