- Support obsolescence management and change requests
- Support environmental compliance (REACH regulation) programs
- Consult with design, stress, quality, and manufacturing on materials and process inquiries
- Collaborate with external institutes
- Steer and collaborate with material suppliers
- Provide expertise support for surface technology engineering, manufacturing, and in-service issues
- Develop and harmonize technologies for external livery applications, pre-treatment, and cleaning
