- Prepare and care for patients before, during, and after surgery
- Assist the surgical team with instruments and other tasks
- Pass instruments and materials to the surgical team during procedures
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sterility, and safety standards
- Check and document instruments and materials used
- Prepare for surgical procedures and carry out follow-up tasks
- Operate and check medical equipment in the operating room
- Collaborate with doctors, anaesthesia professionals, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Work in different surgical specialties based on facility needs
