- Hands-on Linux troubleshooting/performance, Proxmox/KVM, Ansible, monitoring solutions (Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana)
- Ideally, ZFS/Ceph, networking fundamentals (BGP, L3 routing, VLAN, Open vSwitch), Git/CI, Bash/Python scripting
- Self-motivation, proactive approach, idea contribution, clear documentation, knowledge sharing
- Plus: Terraform, Kubernetes, Vault, PowerDNS, hosting/cloud experience
- Enjoy working with other teams and independently
- Very good German and English skills
Aufgaben
- Operate and further develop the hosting platform
- Manage Proxmox/KVM virtualization
- Manage storage systems (ZFS, Ceph)
- Manage networking infrastructure
- Manage monitoring and observability
- Serve as technical escalation point for Platform Support
- Analyze complex issues to root cause
- Ensure problems do not recur
- Automate using Ansible and Git
- Plan and oversee maintenance, upgrades, and migrations
- Contribute to capacity and hardware planning
- Manage your own domain of the platform
- Make well-informed design decisions
- Document design decisions transparently
- Actively share knowledge with the team
- Collaborate with Platform, Support, Dev, Network, and Security teams
- Solve problems together with other teams
- Drive improvements with other teams
