Anforderungen
- Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Life Sciences or equivalent education/experience
- Basic laboratory skills, pipetting experience, aseptic technique training
- At least 6-month laboratory experience including pipetting and GLP procedures
- Good computer skills, confident MS Office handling (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, teamwork skills
- Fluent English and ideally German (read, write, speak, comprehend)
Aufgaben
- Receive, inventory, and process fresh patient samples
- Perform PMBC or cell subset isolations
- Perform plasma fractionations
- Perform serum separations
- Perform cell thawing
- Perform cell counting
- Generate whole blood aliquots
- Receive, inventory, and accession fresh biological samples into data management system
- Receive and inventory all incoming fresh biological samples into BSI database
- Separate whole blood and body fluids into various components
- Use LIMS database to report, track, and record samples
- Cryopreserve all isolated cells
- Prepare all reagents used in the lab
- Create and perform first key of data collection sheets
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance
- Perform laboratory organization
- Participate in a rotating Saturday shift schedule
- Order lab supplies
- Inspect lab supplies
- Respond to freezer alarms in accordance with standard operating procedure
- Carry out other duties and projects as assigned
