Aufgaben
- Ensure equipment meets EU Machinery Regulation, LVD, EMC, and SEMI standards
- Conduct product conformity assessments following CE, UL, and SEMI safety standards
- Comply with regional standards where AIXTRON operates
- Allocate and manage safety requirements at system, subsystem, and component level
- Ensure traceability and consistency of safety requirements
- Conduct safety risk assessments in line with ISO 12100
- Perform chemical risk assessments for product development and modifications
- Review and analyze exothermic reactions and explosive substances
- Manage energy in equipment by assessing reaction enthalpy
- Develop safety strategies for interlock requirements for explosive limits and energetic materials
- Integrate energy management and hazard analysis on used components
- Manage, support, and conduct validation tests
- Manage SEMI S2 product conformity documentation
- Contribute to the design of gas mixing and vacuum systems
- Advise on safety requirements for piping and instrumentation diagrams
- Advise on safety requirements for electrical diagrams and control systems
- Collaborate and coordinate with interdisciplinary engineering teams
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies
