Anforderungen
- Engineering degree in Electric Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
- Desirable experience in steering (real-time control) of radar instruments
- Desirable knowledge of radar instrument architecture and interfaces
- Asset experience with modelling & simulation tools (e.g. Matlab / Python)
- Asset experience in leading cross functional technical teams
- Asset experience with ECSS communication and interface standards
- Asset experience with Radar Payloads
- Fluent English, German is an asset
- Completed degree in Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or comparable qualification
- Desirable experience in steering (real-time control) of radar instruments
- Desirable knowledge of radar instrument architecture and interfaces
- Experience with modelling and simulation tools is advantageous
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Desirable experience with ECSS communication and interface standards
- Fluent English, German is advantageous
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity
Aufgaben
- Analyze radar instrument requirements for operating modes, functions, control sequences, and real-time timing
- Define the radar instrument's functional architecture
- Define functional requirements for radar instrument units and modules
- Contribute to radar instrument software requirement specifications
- Define functional requirements for FPGA firmware
- Define the functional verification strategy at instrument level
- Collaborate closely with Payload System Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Design, and Algorithm Engineering
- Develop nominal and contingency operational procedures
- Support R&D activities within the department, including planning and execution
- Support design reviews with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers
