- Experience with prototyping methods such as 3D printing
- Experience with low-voltage products and related UL/IEC standards

- Knowledge of PTC Creo, Windchill PLM, MS Office, and simulation tools
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Coordination with cross-functional teams and manufacturing units
- Consideration of local and global stakeholders
- Ability to understand customer needs
- Translate customer needs into manufacturable solutions
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis (~10%)

- Develop and design electromechanical components and assemblies
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop product concepts
- Develop solution concepts using simulation tools
- Lead R&D projects according to the Stage-Gate model
- Support R&D projects according to the Stage-Gate model
- Execute optimization projects to improve product quality

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements
