- Experience in PLC programming/troubleshooting and motion control systems
- Professional experience with 3D printing, prototyping and machining
- Experience in implementation of safety circuits and knowledge of industrial safety standards
- Experience in modifying/designing electrical and pneumatic circuit diagrams
- Experience in managing robot laboratory maintenance, hardware inventory, and logistics

- Design automation systems for electronic manufacturing
- Maintain automation systems for electronic manufacturing
- Refine automation systems for electronic manufacturing
- Manufacture mechanical and electrical assemblies for R&D robot automation cells
- Visualize concepts for automation cells
- Create CAD designs for automation cells
- Produce prototypes for automation cells
- Perform electrical tests on automation cells
- Troubleshoot faults in automation cells
- Manage daily laboratory maintenance
- Manage hardware-related office tasks
- Complete projects independently and on time
- Read hardware specifications for assembly and wiring
- Execute hardware specifications for assembly and wiring
- Read circuit diagrams for assembly and wiring
- Execute circuit diagrams for assembly and wiring
- Assemble and wire industrial control cabinets
- Assemble and wire robot peripherals
- Assemble and wire HMI/PLC hardware
- Procure best-in-class technology products for automation work cells
- Integrate best-in-class technology products into automation work cells
- Document your work for internal stakeholders
- Communicate your work clearly to internal stakeholders
- Represent the local laboratory manager in their absence
