Anforderungen
- Degree in electrical engineering, automation, control, mechatronics, computer engineering, or comparable technical discipline
- Several years of professional experience in SCADA, industrial automation, power plant control, renewable energy, or grid integration
- Experience with utility-scale PV, BESS, substations, or other power generation assets (highly desirable)
- Good understanding of SCADA architectures, industrial communication networks, and plant control systems
- Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, OPC UA or comparable)
- Understanding of active power, reactive power, voltage, and grid control concepts (advantageous)
- Experience working with grid operators, utilities, or grid compliance requirements (highly desirable)
- Proven track record coordinating external technical suppliers and managing complex system interfaces
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, communication systems)
- Confident communicator with engineers, customers, suppliers, and grid operators
- Structured working style and strong ownership mentality
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Driving licence category B
- Fluent English
- Responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
- Commitment to respectful, trusting collaboration and mutual support
Aufgaben
- Take technical ownership of SCADA, monitoring, plant control, and communication systems
- Manage suppliers, coordinating SCADA/PPC providers and holding them accountable
- Act as the central technical interface between engineering, project teams, customers, grid operators, and suppliers
- Oversee testing and commissioning of SCADA, PPC, and communication systems
- Coordinate engineering and projects across the full plant lifecycle
- Translate between grid operator requirements, customer expectations, supplier solutions, and EPC project realities
- Ensure SCADA, PPC, and communication systems work reliably during plant commissioning
