- Completed business administration degree, further training as accountant, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Very good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping according to HGB
- Hands-on mentality and structured, solution-oriented work approach
- High reliability, diligence, and sense of responsibility
- Experience with ERP systems
- Good English skills are advantageous
Aufgaben
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Reconcile balance sheets according to tax law
- Analyze and evaluate balance sheet KPIs for business decisions
- Monitor, assess, and reconcile provisions and accrual accounts
- Create, monitor, and optimize accounting processes
- Perform account reconciliations and clarify balance sheet matters
- Monitor and manage dunning processes
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll accounting
- Prepare liquidity and profitability plans
- Develop and standardize accounting processes
- Identify optimization potential and implement efficient solutions
- Collaborate closely with controlling and other departments
- Serve as a contact for internal customers, auditors, tax advisors, financial authorities, and banks
- Prepare for and support operational audits
- Assist with tax and balance sheet issues
- Review and process travel expenses according to legal and company guidelines
