Aufgaben
- Design and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems
- Identify and scope problems and initiatives independently
- Weigh the impact, priority, and timing of initiatives
- Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions
- Bring other teams along in architectural decisions
- Drive cross-cutting initiatives end to end
- Coordinate with stakeholders across engineering
- Build and maintain internal tools and infrastructure
- Use AWS and Terraform for infrastructure
- Own observability and logging
- Ensure operational excellence for platform availability
- Share knowledge through code and design reviews
- Participate in pairing sessions
- Help raise technical standards
- Identify opportunities for AI and automation in software development
- Solve horizontal write-scaling for the database
- Modernize the CI/CD pipeline
- Migrate infrastructure-as-code from CloudFormation to Terraform
- Extract and rework common services for scalability
