Aufgaben
- Own the strategy and quality of the detection library in Elastic Security
- Design high-fidelity detections mapped to attacker techniques
- Improve detection coverage and reduce noise
- Raise the maturity of the SOC
- Lead investigations into complex security incidents
- Proactively hunt for advanced threats across AWS, Elastic, and Datadog
- Refine incident response playbooks
- Implement lasting improvements to security capabilities from incidents
- Design and implement automated investigation, enrichment, and response workflows
- Use SOAR, APIs, and custom tooling for automation
- Reduce manual effort in security operations
- Increase speed, consistency, and resilience across security operations
- Improve cloud security monitoring in AWS
- Improve system hardening in AWS
- Improve security tooling in AWS
- Partner with engineering teams to proactively eliminate risk
- Support compliance initiatives including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and DORA
- Act as a technical leader within the Security team
- Mentor security engineers
- Influence architectural decisions
- Champion security best practices
- Help build a security-first culture
- Participate in a weekly rotating on-call schedule
