Anforderungen
- 2–4 years in-house finance, reputable consultancy, or completed training as tax clerk/accountant
- Mastery of accounting fundamentals and familiarity with common tax issues
- Hands-on experience with accounting, billing, and spend management tools (e.g. DATEV, Stripe, Moss, Spendesk) or similar systems
- Highly organised and reliable, owning recurring processes independently
- Genuine interest in process optimisation and automation
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and comfort handling new responsibilities
- High level of ownership, reliability, and flexibility
- SaaS and/or fund industry experience is a plus
- Fluency in English (C1+ level)
- At least B1 in German

Aufgaben
- Perform preparatory accounting, assigning cost centers and units
- Manage creditor and debtor accounting
- Prepare accounting exports for external accountants across jurisdictions
- Oversee spend management processes
- Review and approve invoices weekly
- Manage credit cards and employee reimbursements
- Set up direct debits
- Ensure timely bill payments
- Process quarterly and annual invoicing across products and jurisdictions
- Automate invoicing setup by collaborating with analytics and other teams
- Track client payments and flag overdue accounts
- Coordinate with external accountants for monthly close
- Ensure timely delivery of monthly and annual accounts
- Provide necessary information to external partners
- Support regular tax filings, including VAT, across entities
- Conduct monthly payroll reviews
- Serve as internal point of contact for payroll questions
- Address questions on social security, health insurance, and pension contributions
- Manage employee benefits and financial policies
- Support equity financing rounds with Legal, Strategy, and FP&A
- Assist with due diligence and data room preparation for financing rounds
- Handle ad-hoc banking and insurance needs
