- Prepare timely and accurate GAAP financial statements
- Prepare board reporting
- Prepare budgets
- Prepare KPIs of operating companies
- Perform quality assurance on finance and accounting work products
- Review GL postings for accuracy
- Monitor revenue recognition
- Refine variance explanations in reporting
- Analyze budget-to-actuals
- Benchmark against portfolio
- Analyze operational revenue and expense
- Provide insights to facilitate decision-making
- Partner with M&A colleagues
- Support the operational/financial integration of acquisitions
- Implement process improvement initiatives
- Develop ad hoc reports and dashboards
- Develop dashboards to help CEOs monitor businesses
- Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Promote best practices and efficiency across the portfolio
- Provide financial advice and guidance to the business
