Anforderungen
- Strong people leadership experience in IT, Enterprise Applications, Business Applications, SaaS Platforms or Enterprise Systems
- Track record of developing technology professionals and building high-performing teams
- Leadership experience ideally within a growing or transforming organization
- Ability to lead specialists without being the deepest technical expert
- Ability to set direction, delegate ownership, and create accountability
- Ability to give experts space and support to succeed
- Broad understanding of enterprise application landscapes
- Experience managing SaaS and off-the-shelf application portfolios
- Experience with application lifecycle management, integrations, APIs, and service management
- Comfort navigating different business priorities and senior stakeholders
- Experience with vendors and implementation partners
- Experience establishing or improving operating models, governance, and application-management processes
- Fluent English
- German or Dutch language skills advantageous
Aufgaben
- Lead and develop the Business Platform organization
- Coach and develop a team of 10+ technology professionals
- Create clear direction and ownership within the team
- Strengthen team capabilities, career paths, and succession options
- Foster knowledge sharing and sustainable backup models
- Develop a scalable operating model for the Business Platform organization
- Reduce key-person dependencies
- Establish clear responsibilities across the application landscape
- Maintain an overview of initiatives, projects, and business priorities
- Enable Product Owners and Application Managers to manage service quality
- Oversee releases, changes, and operational readiness
- Drive continuous improvement of business applications
- Transition new applications into sustainable operational ownership
- Create transparency through KPIs and portfolio reporting
- Partner closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Sales, and other corporate functions
- Align priorities and expectations across stakeholder groups
- Create transparency around capabilities, risks, and dependencies
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and other IT functions
- Work with Product and IT Transformation to improve cross-functional processes
- Define and improve cross-functional interfaces and responsibilities
- Guide relationships with software vendors and implementation partners
- Manage external service providers
- Create transparent governance and service expectations with vendors
- Contribute to strategic and commercial discussions on platform evolution
- Contribute to sourcing and vendor performance discussions
